Jason Skinner

Managing Director

Prior to founding JP Equity Partners in 2018, Jason was a Director at Mac Equity Partners, where he spent five years servicing a range of high net worth and institutional investors.

Jason specialises in bringing companies and/or projects to market and providing capital raising solutions for them. He is also experienced in corporate advisory, trading securities and sophisticated investor placements. Jason has a comprehensive network and strong relationships both in Australia and overseas.

Jason has led and assisted many companies through successful IPO’s, capital raising and corporate transactions. Jason is the Corporate Adviser for several unlisted and ASX listed companies. Jason prides himself on developing long term relationships with clients and working closely with boards and senior management throughout their company’s growth, as a result he is able to realise ultimate value for all clients.

Jason has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics from The University of Western Australia and is RG146 and ADA1 compliant.

Nic Brownbill

Director

Nic is a Partner and Director of JP Equity Partners and has over 7 years experience as a financial services professional.

Prior to assisting in the establishment of JP Equity, Nic was a Director at a boutique, full-service stockbroking firm for over 5 years. During this time, Nic managed sub $100m market listed securities for a large portfolio of clients including institutional funds, family offices and private HNW investors. He has expertise investing in, financing and overseeing the management of growth businesses having advised and funded numerous ASX companies from early stage venture capital, through to successful IPO’s.

Nic has further domain expertise in the Funds Management sector having spent time with a globally leading, UK based Alternate Investment Management firm that specialises in quantitative investing.

Nic holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Professional Diploma in Stockbroking from the SAA, having completed his RG146 – Securities and Managed Investments, Margin Lending and Superannuation Accreditations.

He holds a graduate certificate in Asset Management from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.

Catherine Divilly

Office and Operations Manager

Catherine joined us in April 2019 as Office and Operations Manager. Over the past 10-years she has predominately worked with Executives and CEOs of multinational Oil and Gas companies. Catherine has developed a range of skills and knowledge base which have given her the ability to relate to all levels of an organisation through her passion for leadership and problem solving. Catherine has now brought her expertise to JP Equity Partners where she is responsible for all operations in the business.

Daniel Rootes

Investment Advisor/Asia Consultant

Daniel who is Based in Perth, Australia, has 5 years of experience working in the Finance industry. Currently working closely with Hedge Funds, Family Offices and Wealth managers road showing companies in Singapore and Hong Kong gives JP Equity excellent exposure into Asia corporately and to investors.

Over the past 3 years, Daniel has spent his time marketing ASX listed companies to investors. During this period he has built up a network across Australia developing strong relationships with Companies, Corporate advisers, Wealth Managers, Mainstream Media and Marketing companies striving to get the best results for clients.

Prior to that, he worked for Colonial First State in Sydney executing trades for some of the largest funds in Australia.

Tyler Gilbert

Investment Advisor/Dealers Assistant

Tyler has over five years’ experience in the finance industry and has been an active participant in the stock market for the last decade. Before joining JP Equity Partners Tyler worked for a boutique accounting firm specialising in business advisory and preparation of financial statements for companies within a wide range of industries.

Tyler holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in corporate finance and financial accounting from the University of Western Australia. Tyler is also a member of the Charted Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA) and is RG 146 compliant. Tyler is currently completing the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Andrew Todd

Analyst

Andrew provides an extensive background in energy and resources analysis, for private and public Australian equity capital markets. Andrew’s passion for equity markets and corporate advisory is bolstered by his work in diverse number of roles at JP Equity Partners and his active participation as a private investor for several years.

Andrew has Bachelor of Science, Engineering Science, Chemical Specialisation, from the University of Western Australia and is RG146 compliant.

Liam Stocklinger

Corporate Manager/Compliance

Liam has been involved in business for numerous years in a management and consultancy capacity and has developed a strong interest in corporate advisory and generating value for business. Liam has a passion for equity markets that has seen him be an active participant in the stock market for several years.
Liam holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in finance) from the University of Notre Dame. He has completed numerous AFSL and ASIC Compliance courses and has completed his RG105 Responsible Managers course.
